The “Rifna Deserves” campaign is a comprehensive development initiative to support the Syrian Development Fund in Rif Dimashq, under the supervision of the Rif Dimashq Governorate. It aims to attract businessmen and companies from inside and abroad, along with the people of the homeland and generous donors around the world, to take part in the process of construction and development. The initiative seeks to advance reconstruction and strengthen recovery efforts through the sectors of health, education, housing, energy, and infrastructure.
Campaign Goals
The development campaign in Rif Dimashq seeks to create a qualitative shift in the path of recovery and reconstruction by supporting development projects, attracting community and economic capacities, and working on rebuilding and improving infrastructure and services in a way that enhances stability and serves all the people of the governorate.
Supporting the Syrian Development Fund in Rif Dimashq after its official launch at the national level and contributing to the sustainability of development.
Attracting donors and supporters from merchants, businessmen, and companies inside the country and abroad to participate in construction and development.
Supporting comprehensive recovery efforts and working continuously on reconstruction across all sectors and affected areas.
Providing full support for infrastructure and roads within the governorate through implementing projects for restoration, repair, and service improvement.
Targeting the following sectors: health, education, housing, energy, sanitation, electricity, water, and other essential services.
Main Needs
- Equipping 20 hospitals across Rif Dimashq, distributed among the nine administrative areas.
- Rebuilding and restoring 200,000 homes partially or completely destroyed.
- Providing the sanitation sector with around 500 vehicles.
- Supporting schools to reduce student overcrowding by constructing and equipping more than 800 schools across the rural areas.
